Is Anushka's Inji Idupazhaghi Aimed At Inspiring People With Obesity?
Anushka Shetty's next flick which is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual is christened Inji Idupazhaghi(Size Zero in Telugu). The film was officially launched today with the usual prayers offered to the Almighty.
Many celebrities including the Singam actress were seen attending the ceremony and our correspondent have managed to get some interesting information pertaining to the project.
It is not a surprise that Anushka will be seen as a fat girl weighing nearly 100 kg in the first half and will be posing as a size zero model in the second.
According to our reliable source, Inji Idupazhaghi is all about conveying a social message with generous amount of humour. It is also said that the film will have a high quality screenplay.
Arya, who is playing the male lead, will be seen as a documentary filmmaker and the film will also house Shruti Haasan in a cameo.
Directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, Inji Idupazhaghi is expected to serve as an inspiration to the people suffering from obesity, with a script intertwined with romance.
Lyricist Madhan Karky who will contribute to the project with his lyrics had tweeted, "Glad to be associated with @PVPCinema's #InjiIdupazhagi starring Aryaa & Anushka directed by Prakash."
It is also a kind gesture from Anushka and Arya to join hands again for PVP Cinemas after their Irandaam Ulagam debacle. With high hopes pinned on this bilingual and with Anushka's amazing commitment, it will be interesting to see how this film shapes up.
