Happy Birthday Soori: Fans Wish The Star Comedian On His Special Day; See Tweets
There's no denying the fact that Soori is one of the most talented and popular comedians in the Tamil film industry today. The lively actor enjoys a pretty strong fan following thanks to his impressive abilities as a performer, charming screen presence, friendly attitude and cool nature. Over the years, he has worked with some of the biggest names in Kollywood and this has helped him become an integral part of the industry. Soori celebrated his birthday today (August 27, 2018) much to the delight of his well-wishers.

In case you did not know, Soori was born in Madurai on August 27, 1977. He entered Kollywood in 1999 and initially played minor roles in a few films. He eventually rose to fame with the 2009 release Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, which featured the famous 'parotta' scene.
Thereafter, he went on to star in films such as Sundarapandian and Jilla and this helped him consolidate his standing in the industry. While Jilla saw him act alongside Thalapathy Vijay, Vedalam saw him act with 'Thala' Ajith. He has also acted alongside Suriya and the 'box office king' Sivakarthikeyan.
At present, he is gearing up for the release of Seema Raja. The film is a Ponram directorial and will see him work with Sivakarthikeyan again.
