Now, nearly eight months later, Sivakarthikeyan is gearing up for the release of Seema Raja. The film is a Ponram directorial and it's slated to hit the screens tomorrow (September 13, 2018).

Seema Raja has been shot against a budget of Rs 40 Crore and it is set to get a wide release in Tamil Nadu and other parts of the country. It is being distributed by two top distributors in TN and this means that it's going to secure a good number of screens.

Judging by the lively trailer, Seema Raja seems to be nothing short of an absolute mass entertainer. It boasts of everything, right from comedy to romance, and this makes it the perfect release for the festive occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi. The film is bound to be a delight for the family audience. And, it goes without saying, this might help it open on a good note.
No Real Competition
Seema Raja is hitting the screens alongside the Pawan Kumar-directed U Turn. While the film has created a reasonable amount of buzz amongst the target audience, it is unlikely to create any problems for the Sivakarthikeyan starrer. U Turn is essentially a thriller and this means that it unlikely to be the top choice of the family audience over the extended weekend.
Box Office Prediction
According to our box office analysis, Seema Raja is going to open on a solid note at the Chennai BO. It will most probably collect around Rs 3.5 Crore at the CBO in the first four days. If the WOM is positive, then this figure might be even higher.
