Mirch highlights: Witty sex comedy

Mirch, meaning chilli, hit the headlines hard like a bolt from the blue when its sexy trailers made it to the small screens. As the title suggests, it is likely to be as hot as the chillis. Yes, it is said to have lots of lovemaking scenes.

The highlights of Mirch are witty and humorous sexy scenes. It is said that Raima Sen is upset with her lovemaking scenes with co-star Arunodoy Singh. She was shocked and reduced to tears after watching the film. The bedroom sequences and the graphic works of some scenes are too much to take. It is said that the actress has requested director Vinay Shukla to tone down the lovemaking scenes.

The sexy trailer of the film has created lots of curiosity. The actors are seen kissing, sharing the same bed and even massaging. There is a scene similar to the one in Titanic, but in Mirch, the hero does body paint literally. As if that's not enough, the heroine goes topless in one of the scenes.

Mirch is a celebration of womanhood and deals with gender equality in relationship. It is a sex comedy with lots of wit and intelligence. Directed by Vinay Shukla, it features Konkona Sen Sharma, Raima Sen, Shahana Goswami, Ila Arun, Shreyas Talpade and others in the lead roles. It is set for release tomorrow, December 17.
