Jon Voight praises Angelina Jolie’s kids

Sydney (ANI): Angelina Jolie"s father Jon Voight has praised his daughter"s children, calling them spectacular. The 71-year-old actor spoke about his six grandchildren at the Hollywood premiere of the movie Kick-Ass, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.

"The grandkids are quite spectacular, as everybody knows," Voight told USMagazine.com. The Oscar-winning actor reconciled with Jolie in February after years of alienation and met Jolie-Brad Pitt"s kids - Maddox, eight, Zahara and Pax, six. He also met Jolie and Pitt"s three biological children Shiloh, three and 19-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne in Venice. "It's nice to have something that's positive," he said.

"Angie and I have been in contact on the phone and by email for some time now. We've been working towards a full reconciliation for a while. Angie had to feel it was the right time to bring me into the lives of her and the kids and after some work she decided the moment had arrived. I hope I get to see them again soon. I want to spend as much time with them as possible," Voight said.
