Kannada
actor
and
TV
reality
show
host
Akul
Balaji
has
signed
a
bilingual
movie,
which
is
titled
as
Magadheera
in
Kannada
and
Ranadheera
in
Telugu.
It
is
said
that
fixing
a
title
for
this
project
proved
to
be
a
bit
of
a
challenge
for
the
crew.
Talking
to
a
leading
portal,
Akul
said,
"We
wanted
to
name
the
Kannada
version
Ranadheera
and
the
Telugu
version
Magadheera.
Unfortunately,
there
have
been
films
of
the
same
name
in
both
the
languages,"
Ranadheera,
starring
Crazy
Star
Ravichandran
and
Kushboo
in
the
lead
roles,
was
a
musical
hit
of
1988,
where
as
Magadheera
marked
the
debut
of
Ramcharan
Teja
aka
Cherry
in
Tollywood,
which
was
also
a
Blockbuster
in
2009.
Meanwhile,
the
crew
has
approached
both
the
actors
to
see
if
they
would
let
them
use
the
titles
of
the
movies,
which
was
one
of
the
the
super-hit
in
their
career.
But,
as
expected
both
Ravi
and
Ramcharan
refused
to
lend
their
movie
title,
and
advised
them
to
change
it.
So,
the
lead
actor
Akul
Balaji
gave
an
interesting
twist
to
the
mystery
by
a
tricky
title
exchange.
He
said,
"We
have
now
exchanged
the
titles
for
both
the
languages
and
registered
them
for
ourselves.
So
the
Kannada
version
is
now
called
Magadheera,
while
the
Telugu
version
is
called
Ranadheera.
Technically,
they
are
both
new
titles
in
each
of
the
film
industries,"
