The
release
date
for
Bahuparak
is
coming
but
the
censoring
of
the
film
is
yet
to
be
done.
The
Regional
Board
of
Film
Certification
which
is
responsible
for
certification
of
movies
in
Kannada
is
non
functional.
The
board
chief
Nagendra
Swamy
has
said
that
if
the
producers
allow
he
will
take
Bahuparak
and
another
movie
Miss
Mallige
to
Mumbai
for
censor
certification.
On
June
30th,
92
of
the
99
members
of
the
Regional
Board
of
Film
Certification
have
resigned
after
their
term
came
to
an
end.
With
the
current
seven
members,
the
board
is
unable
to
certify
the
movies
due
to
lack
of
Quorum.
There
is
no
women
among
the
current
seven
members
of
the
board.
The
rules
of
the
censor
board
clearly
says
that
a
film
can
be
certified
only
by
a
four
member
team
along
with
the
board
chief,
out
of
which
atleast
two
have
to
be
women.
Nagendra
informed
that
he
has
already
sent
a
request
to
the
state
government
to
appoint
more
members
to
board
so
that
it
can
start
functioning
again.
Once
the
required
number
of
members
are
added,
the
board
can
resume
certifying
the
movies.
To
help
with
this
problem,
Nagendra
has
suggested
the
producers
that
the
certification
of
the
movie
could
be
done
in
Mumbai.
He
quipped,
"Both
the
films
are
in
an
urgency
to
get
released.
So,
we
are
planning
to
get
the
censor
done
in
Mumbai.
Many
a
times
we
have
censored
many
of
Hindi
films
in
Bangalore
and
like
wise
we
can
also
get
the
Kannada
films
censored
in
Mumbai.
I
have
already
talked
to
the
Mumbai
authorities
and
I
will
get
the
films
censored
if
the
producers
of
both
the
films
permits."
