Prithviraj-Indrajith's Tiyaan: Surya TV Bags Satellite Rights

Tiyaan, the recently released pan-Indian movie which features Prithviraj and Indrajith in the lead roles, has already emerged as a box office success. Now, the satellite rights of Tiyaan has been sold for a whopping amount.

As per the latest reports, Surya TV, the Malayalam television channel has bagged the satellite rights of the movie, for Rs. 5.2 Crores. This once again proves Prithviraj's huge demand in the satellite rights market.

The movie, which is scripted by actor-writer Murali Gopy and directed by Jiyen Krishnakumar, is also performing extremely well at the box office. Reportedly, the movie has already touched the 9-Crore mark at the box office.

Tiyaan, which is a socio-political drama, featrues Prithviraj in the role of Aslan Mohammed, a msyterious man, while Indrajith appears as Pattabhiraman, a Sanskrit expert. Murali Gopy, the writer played the role of Godman Remakant Mahashay.

Satheesh Kurup has handled the cinematography of the movie. National award winner Gopi Sundar has composed the songs and background score. Tiyaan is produced by Haneef Mohammed under the banner Red Rose Creations.
