Dhoom 3 Collection Halted By 1: Nenokkadine, Yevadu At Box Office

Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan's recent release Dhoom 3 had been running like as if there was none to stop its rocking collection at the Box Office for the last three weeks. But finally its roaring has been silenced in the fourth week. Thanks to the overwhelming response for Telugu movies 1: Nenokkadine, Yevadu, Jilla and Veeram, which have not only halted its business down South, but also in the international markets.

Released in 1000+ screens with Hindi, Telugu and Tamil versions down South, Dhoom 3 had received an earth shattering response. In three weeks, the movie had collected approximately 15+ crores nett at the South Indian Box Office, taking its 21-day-domestic total to Rs 276+ crores nett. But the movie lost out a huge amount of screens to new releases and their good response turned out to be became a bane of the Aditya Chopra-produced film, which has failed to collect even Rs 50 lakhs gross in its fourth week.


Dhoom 3 was dominating the business chart in USA, UK, Australia and Malaysia from the last three weeks, but 1: Nenokkadine, Yevadu, Jilla and Veeram have pushed this movie to the bottom in all these international markets. The movie has struggled to collected Rs 1.82 crores nett from 120+ screens in six foreign countries, while the new south Indian movies did much better business in its half amount of screens.
