Nani Celebrating His 30th Birthday Today (Feb 24)

Telugu actor Nani has scored success with Paisa this year and his second release - Aaha Kalyanam, which is a bilingual movie made in Telugu and Tamil, has also got good opening at the Box Office. Its good response is a fans' gift to the Eega star, who is celebrating his 30th birthday today (February 24).

During his graduation, Nani developed a strong interest in filmmaking and his friend and producer Anil introduced him to director Bapu, who gave him a first job as a clap director for the film Radha Gopalam. Later, his another friend Nandini Reddy offered him work as a Radio Jockey. For one year, he hosted a programme named "Non-Stop Nani" for World Space Satellite.

Director Mohan Krishna Indraganti, who noticed Nani in an advertisement, gave him first offer to play in Swati Reddy starrer film Ashta Chamma, which was a big hit at the Box Office in 2008. In the next three years, he played hero in Ride, Snehituda, Bheemli Kabadi Jattu, Ala Modalaindi, Veppam and Pilla Zamindar and except Snehituda, all of them were big hits at the Box Office.

But it was the huge success of SS Rajamouli's 2012 movie Eega, which was dubbed in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi, that got Nani much-need attention not just in Andhra Pradesh and India, but also in international arena. Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, his second release of the year was big hit at the Box Office.

After Eega, Nani had signed three big-ticket movies, which were expected to hit the screens in 2013. But due to some reasons, none of them hit the screens in the year. He has recently released Paisa and Aaha Kalyanam, which have got good response from the viewers. He is set to release his next movie Jenda Pai Kapiraju on March 7.
