Ganga,
which
was
supposed
to
hit
screens
last
Friday,
might
not
face
the
projection
even
this
Friday.
Till
the
last
minute
there
was
a
confusion
in
the
release
date
of
the
film,
due
to
the
financial
problems
of
producer
Bellamkonda
Suresh.
While
its
Tamil
version,
Kanchana
2,
released
to
a
unanimous
hit
talk,
the
Telugu
version,
Ganga
is
still
in
the
cans.
Though
one
of
the
most
influential
producers,
Dil
Raju,
has
come
in
to
the
scene
to
bag
the
complete
rights
of
the
film,
the
fate
of
the
film
did
not
change.
A
top
distribution
house
has
filed
a
case
on
Bellamkonda
Suresh
and
the
film
is
now
in
legal
troubles.
Apparently,
it
is
not
possible
for
any
big
producer
to
get
the
film
out,
since
Bellamkonda
has
to
repay
huge
debts
in
a
single
shot.
Bellamkonda
Suresh
was
also
a
top
producer
but
his
recent
films,
Jabardasth,
Alludu
Seenu
and
Rabhasa
bombed
at
the
box
office
big
time,
which
has
in
turn
landed
him
up
in
deep
muddle.
His
other
film,
with
his
son,
Bellamkonda
Sai
Srinivas
and
director
Boyapati,
was
also
halted
due
to
lack
of
funds.
According
to
the
sources,
if
Dil
Raju
could
settle
the
issue
and
bail
the
film
out,
Ganga
likely
to
hit
screens
on
May
1st,
if
not,
we
can
consider
it
as
a
end
of
the
story
for
Telugu
Version
of
Kanchana
2.
