Ilayaraja

admitted
to

private
hospital
in
Chennai
on
Saturday
after
he
complained
of
slight
pain
in
the
abdomen.
"He
was
rushed
to
Apollo
hospitals.
It
looks
like
some
gastric
problem
and
tests
are
being
conducted.
He
will
be
discharged
soon," a
source
close
to
the
musician
revealed.
However,
sources
at
the
hospital
said
he
is
stable
and
there
is
nothing
for
fans
to
panic.
Ilayaraja,
72,
has
composed
over
5,000
songs
in
his
career
spanning
over
three
decades
across
multiple
languages.
The
National-award
winning
composer
has
produced
some
of
the
evergreen
hits
in
southern
cinema
and
also
has
memorable
Hindi
albums
to
his
credit.
