Mr X Day 1 Box Office Collection

Mr X starring Emraan Hashmi, Amyra Dastur and Arunodhay Singh which released on April 17 saw a very poor opening at the Box Office.

The sci-fi thriller which released both in 3D and 2D did not do well and the theatre occupancy was very poor and low.

The report from Boxofficeindia.com stated, "the film had an opening of only 10-15%. While the openings were not expected to be big, such a poor response was certainly not expected."

Ek Adhbut Dakshina, Margarita With A Straw, Nanak Shah Fakir, NH 8 - Road To Nidhivan opened to practically zero collections, the report further added.

Directed by Vikram Bhatt, Mr. X was expected to do well at the urban centres than rural areas. The film Mr. X didn't garner good review but it was promoted as a family entertainer.

The satellite rights for the film fetched a whopping Rs 25 Cr for an Emraan Hashmi movie. Let us wait and watch if the movie will fare well at the Box Office through word of mouth.
