One
cannot
forget
this
onscreen
baddie's
blood
thirsty
eyes
and
devilish
smirk
on
the
face.
We
are
talking
about
the
baddie
of
the
film
Gabbar
Singh,
Siddappa
Naidu
aka
Abhimanyu
Singh.
He
has
yet
again
surprised
all
with
his
recent
villainous
character
in
Department.
Well-known
for
his
negative
role
in
films
like
Gulaal,
Rakht
Charitra,
Singh
is
the
one,
better
defined
as
a
gentle
and
humble
person
in
real
life.
During
a
candid
chat
with
Nabanita
Maji
from
OneIndia,
Abhimanyu
opened
up
on
his
onscreen
baddie
avatars
and
upcoming
projects.
Here
are
the
excerpts
from
Abhimanyu's
interview:
Firstly,
congrats
for
the
film
Gabbar
Singh's
super
success
at
the
Box
Office.
How
was
your
experience
working
with
Pawan
Kalyan
and
Shruti
Hassan?
Thanks
a
lot.
My
experience
working
with
Pawan
Kalyan
and
Shruti
Hassan
was
wonderful.
I've
learnt
a
lot
from
Pawan
Kalyan.
It
was
great
working
in
Gabbar
Singh.
Pawan,
despite
being
such
a
big
star,
is
such
a
calm
and
humble
person.
Shruti
and
the
other
cast
were
equally
good.
If
you
had
to
rate
Gabbar
Singh
and
Dabbang,
which
one
would
you
rate
higher
and
why?
I
would
rate
both
the
films
equally.
The
background
of
both
the
films
are
same,
but
it's
not
a
copy
paste
completely.
Hence,
both
films
carries
it's
own
importance.
Your
debut
film
Aks
was
with
Amitabh
Bachchan
and
your
recent
release
Department
too
was
with
the
Big
B.
How
was
your
experience
working
with
the
legend?
Amitabhji
is
a
legend.
It
was
great
experience
working
with
him
in
Aks.
But
unfortunately,
I
and
Amitabhji
don't
have
a
scene
together
in
Department.
You
have
tasted
success
in
both
Bollywood
as
well
as
the
South
film
industry.
How
would
you
compare
both?
It's
difficult
to
compare
both
as
they
are
two
different
industries.
But
interestingly,
they
have
the
similar
kind
of
passionate
people
working.
So,
I
personally
don't
find
too
much
of
difference.
In
recent
times,
the
Bollywood
stars
are
making
their
way
towards
the
small
screens.
What
do
you
think
is
the
core
reason
behind
this?
The
reason
being
the
stars
want
to
reach
out
to
every
nook
and
corner
of
the
nation.
There
are
no
multiplexes
and
cinema
halls
in
many
areas
of
our
country,
hence
television
is
the
best
option.
One
can
watch
out
these
shows
sitting
at
home.
So,
it's
the
way
how
stars
are
reaching
out
at
every
home.
Do
you
think
Bollywood
is
all
about
the
Khans?
Definitely,
no.
There
are
so
many
critically
acclaimed
actors
in
the
industry.
Aren't
they
good?
Your
upcoming
projects.
One
of
my
upcoming
projects
is
Ab
Tak
Chappan
2.
I
wouldn't
like
to
talk
much
about
the
other
projects
as
it's
too
early
to
speak
about
them.
