Directed by SLB, Rani starrer Black also casted the Megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role and that year (2006), the duo take the Bollywood by storm and made each and every Bollywood celebs proud!

Did you know that Rani took nine months to prepare for her character in Black; the longest time she'd spent on any of her films. Rani had said while talking to a leading daily, "Since I was playing a deaf-mute, I had to first learn sign language and my hands used to ache at the end of the day. But I had to get my hand movements and gestures right because they had to do the work of the spoken word as well as facial expressions."
