Actress Saritha's Marriage Life In Lurch
South actress Saritha, who was last seen in Kannada movie Dashamukha is in news. It was well known that the actress, who had married to Malayalam actor Mukesh, was separated from him and settled abroad with her children.
Saritha, who made her Sandalwood debut with Thappida Thala in 1978, was in limelight when she opposed her ex-husband Mukesh's marriage with a Malayali dancer Methil Devika. The actress had claimed that the marriage is illegal as she and Mukesh have still not got divorce in the court.
Saritha had married Mukesh in 1988, and the couple were blessed with two children. It is said that the duo got separated due to marital discord. The actress, who is presently residing in Dubai with her two sons Sravan and Thejas,has given a press statement saying that Mukesh has taken advantage of her absence in India, and married Devika.
She said, "Mukesh did not appear in the court for many hearings, whereas I travelled down from abroad each time for the court hearings. Later, due to his consistent absence, the divorce petition on mutual basis was withdrawn by me in 2010. Thereafter, Mukesh has not sent me any notice or petition for divorce."

Mukesh Has Committed Bigamy
In her statement, Saritha has said, "Taking advantage of my absence in India and without dissolving our marriage legally, Mukesh has committed an illegal act of bigamy by marrying another woman."
Saritha To Take Necessary Actions
"I am taking all steps, both before the civil and criminal forums, to take necessary action against Mukesh," Saritha added.
Mukesh's Family Denied The Allegations
However, Mukesh's family has denied the allegations made by Saritha and said that Mukesh has produced all the necessary documents for his second marriage. "If he had not produced the legal documents, then the registrar would have objected to the second marriage," they quoted.
Mukesh And Mithil Devika
It is reported that actor Mukesh has married Mithil Devika on Friday (Oct 25), in a small function, which was graced by the family members and close friends.
Mukesh Is Saritha's Second Husband
Saritha had married Telugu actor Venakta Subbaiah in 1975, when she was 16 years old. They got divorce in 1988, after which she married Mukesh.
