After
the
movie
Venkata
in
Sankata,
actor-turned-director
Ramesh
Aravind
is
back
on
screen
with
the
film
Crazy
Kutumba
along
with
another
talented
actor
Ananth
Nag.
Although
the
movie
is
a
love
story
it
has
taken
a
diversion
from
the
usual
customary
way.
It
is
really
a
wonderful
presentation
for
this
Valentine's
Day.
Crazy
Kutumba
is
a
remake
of
the
Marathi
film
De
Dhakka,
which
is
inspired
by
the
Hollywood
film
Little
Miss
Sunshine.
It
is
romantic-comedy
film
with
a
message
of
human
triumph
over
adversity.
Due
to
their
different
dreams,
members
of
a
family
face
several
problems
on
their
way
from
Belgaum
to
Bangalore,
but
the
potential
of
their
unity
remains
unshaken.
The
movie
is
the
story
of
a
dysfunctional
family
bonding
during
a
journey
from
Balekundri
to
Bangalore
to
participate
in
a
TV
reality
show.
Ramesh
Aravind,
Ananth
Nag's
performances
are
the
main
highlight
of
the
film.
Rajinikanth's
comedy,
Ricky
Kej"s
music,
dialogues,
screenplay
and
costumes
are
the
other
plus
points
of
the
movie.
The
film
has
a
neat
script.
With
his
lively
narration
director
B
Rammurthy
has
successfully
adapted
the
North
Karnataka
language
and
culture
along
with
giving
comical
touch
to
the
movie.
The
first
half
of
the
movie
deals
with
the
journey
through
which
the
director
discovers
the
strength
and
weaknesses
of
all
the
characters.
The
second
half
deals
with
the
problems
created
by
different
dreams.
Shankar
Gouda
Patil
(Ramesh
Aravind)
is
a
mechanic
and
is
married
to
Sumathi
(Sana).
His
father
Mallannagouda
Patil
(Ananth
Nag)
is
an
alcoholic.
The
family
decides
to
leave
for
Bangalore
to
see
their
child
Gowri
(Dhanya)
participate
in
a
TV
reality
show.
The
family
misses
the
bus
in
Belgaum
and
takes
an
autorickshaw
to
cross
600
kms.
How
they
manage
to
reach
Bangalore
and
what
kinds
of
troubles
they
face
will
create
a
laugh
riot
and
it
should
be
watched
on-screen.
Even
though
the
movie
is
remake,
director
B
Rammurthy
has
is
successful
to
maintain
the
nativity.
To
give
authenticity
to
character,
scene
and
place,
he
has
managed
to
get
every
silly
details
regarding
language,
costume,
behavior
mannerisms.
and
all
the
actors
have
tried
their
best
in
supporting
him
in
making
it
successful
family
drama.
Rickey
Kej's
music,
which
has
already
impressed
the
audience,
is
another
highlight
of
the
movie
Crazy
Kutumba.
The
film
has
four
songs
Jayanth
Kaikini
has
penned
and
rest
are
taken
from
noted
writers
Kuvempu,
KS
Narasimha
Swamy
and
HS
Venkateshamurthy's
poems.
In
a
nutshell,
Crazy
Kutumba
is
a
slapstick
with
an
injection
of
sentiment.
Although
the
movie
appears
like
a
stage
performance
in
many
scenes,
it
successfully
holds
the
attention
of
viewers
with
comedy.
Members
of
a
family
can
sit
together
and
enjoy
this
'crazy
family'
story.
