directed
by
Vysakh.
The

stars
Kunchacko
Boban,
Indrajith,
Suraj
Venjarammoodu
and
Joju
George
in
the
central
roles.
Vedhika
and
Nisha
Agarwal
play
the
female
leads.
Mia
George
makes
a
cameo
appearance
in
the
movie.
Cousins
is
produced
by
Vaishakh
Rajan,
under
the
banner
Vaishaka
Cinema.
Sam
(Kunchacko
Boban),
Joji
(Indrajith),
Pauly
(Suraj
Venjarammodu)
and
Tony(Joju
George)
are
cousin
brothers
who
share
a
great
bond.
Sam
loses
his
memory
after
an
accident.
The
cousins
makes
a
trip
to
find
out
what
exactly
happened
in
Sam's
life
and
ends
up
at
Chandragiri
palace.
They
meet
some
important
people
from
Sam's
past
in
the
palace
and
learns
about
his
lover
(Vedhika)
and
meets
her
sister
(Nisha
Agarwal).
From
her,
the
cousins
learn
some
dark
realities
of
Sam's
past
and
this
forms
the
rest
of
the
story.
Cast
And
Performance
Kunchako
Boban
delivers
a
decent
performance
as
Sam.
Indrajith,
who
played
Joji,
excels
with
his
impeccable
acting
skills.
Suraj
Venrammoodu
manages
to
make
the
audience
laugh.
Joju
George's
performance
is
fine;
but
the
actor
looks
completely
mis-matched
in
the
cousins
group
at
certain
points.
Kalabhavan
Shajohn's
comical
performance
is
just
fine;
but
becomes
annoying
at
certain
instances.
The
actor
definitely
needs
to
brush
up
his
humor
sense.
Vedhika
and
Nisha
Agarwal
look
gorgeous
and
have
played
their
parts
well.
Rest
of
the
cast
are
fine
in
their
respective
roles.
Story
And
Direction
The
repetitive
story
line
and
the
not-so-engaging
script
by
Sethu
are
the
major
negatives
of
the
movie.
Director
Vysakh
manages
to
make
the
movie
look
rich
and
colorful;
but
fails
to
make
the
narration
of
the
plot
engaging
and
interesting.
Technical
Aspects
Cinematography
by
Shaji
and
the
perfect
art
direction
makes
the
movie
look
extremely
rich.
The
movie
could
have
been
much
more
better
if
Mahesh
Narayanan's
editing
was
perfect.
Music
And
Background
Score
M
Jayachandran's
songs
are
just
average.
Gopi
Sundar's
background
sinks
with
the
mood
of
the
movie.
Verdict
A
movie
which
attempts
to
narrate
an
outdate
story
line,
in
the
shadow
of
visual
richness.
