Kannada Was Quite Tough For Me, Says Asha Sarath

Asha Sarath, though rose to fame with her role in one of the seriels aired on Asianet, the actress is now busy with offers pouring on her in movies. After the success of Drishyam, she had been cast for the Kannada remake of the same film to essay the same role as the police officer. She has now completed the shooting of the film but, says that Kannada was quite tough for her.

Asha Sarath says that she has never dreamt of coming back into the industry even in her rarest dreams. But, now she is happy that she is active in the industry and that too performing good roles. A dancer by profession, Asha says that she was never confident in doing her role in Drishyam. But, the true support from the cast and crew of the film has helped her in giving such an outstanding performance in the movie.

After Drishyam, the actress is now getting many good offers from the industry and she says that she might do a Tamil movie too. Currently, she is more excited about her role in the upcoming movie Angels, in which she plays a journalist. She says, "I play a TV journalist called Sajitha Menon, who runs a popular programme of the reality show genre. She is considered an icon in the industry and is renowned for taking strong decisions and admirable stands. At the same time, she is an independent and happy woman in personal life. Indrajith plays the lead. I am quite excited about my role."

Though Asha Sarath is becoming a busy bee in the industry, she is not ready to put aside her dance. She says that dance is always her first priority than films. She says that she wants to be in films, without it affecting her loving family and also her passionate dance.
