Raghavendra Rao to do another devotional film after Shirdi Sai

Acclaimed director K Raghavendra Rao, who is busy wrapping up the post production works of his upcoming movie Shirdi Sai, has decided to do another devotional film. According reports, producer Yalamanchali Sai Baba has roped in the director for his forthcoming big budget film Intinta Annamayya, which is expected to hit the floors soon.

In a chat with a leading English daily, Yalamanchali Sai Baba, who has produced the devotional film Sri Rama Rajyam earlier, announced that he has signed in K Raghavendra Rao for his next film Intinta Annamayya. The producer says that it will be a message-oriented movie, which deals with the values and works of poet Annamayya in a contemporary story.

His previous production Sri Rama Rajyam has not only done a wonderful collection at the Box Office, but has also been raved by both film critics and viewers. Yalamanchali Sai Baba says that he is more interested in doing message-oriented films than routine commercial potboilers. Now, the director and producer duo is looking out for a leading actor for the male lead in their upcoming flick.

Meanwhile, Yalamanchali Sai Baba is very much encouraged by the response that the Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam dubbed versions of Sri Rama Rajyam have received in South India. The producer has now decided to take it to Hindi knowing viewers in the North. He has planned to dub it in Hindi.
