Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad, witnessed a fancy pre-release function of the much awaited movie, Katamarayudu, which was less of a star-studded event but more of a celebration filled with fan frenzy moments.

With the magical director, Guruji, Trivikram Srinivas holding the guest of honours, the function registered a lot of lighter moments from the team and Pawan Kalyan himself, which sent the fans in the arena tizzy and as well made the television viewers grin more than a couple of times.

The trailer of the movie was also released at the event. Watch Katamarayudu trailer here..

Here are some of the touchpoints covered by the dignitaries during the said function.

Anup Rubens: This young music director attributed his success and gave lion's credit share to Pawan Kalyan for infusing trust and confidence in him. Though he seemed a bit edgy (understandably so), he was also pumped up with happiness.Kishore Kumar Pardasani: The movie's director, who is fondly known as Dolly, thanked Power Star profusely for his commitment and word when the latter promised one more movie with the director after Gopala Gopala.

The Tadakha director, wished to work more and more with the Gabbar Singh star for the rapport they share and for the built relationship which he wished to extend.

Ram Jogaiah Shastry: Ace lyricist recalled an incident while penning lyric for the title track. Apart from the delivered lyrics which is the finalized version, he sang a few lines which was not considered for it to be a perfect fit into the final song.

But those lines were sure enough to have sent goosebumps to Kalyan fans as it was purely describing Pawan Kalyan's off screen characteristics and his projected image in politics.

TV CEO Ravi Prakash: This 3 min long speech was more of Pawan Kalyan's political life and his service than concerning the movie. He came with some hard hitting statements on both state and central government and projected PK as the youth force and a ray of light.

Trivikram Srinivas: This man never fails to impress audience with his amazing speech which combines intelligence and wit. He touched both cinema and political aspects of Pawan Kalyan with his intellectual talk and made audience to applaud and whistle for his shower of praiseworthy wordings on the 45-year-old actor.

We all know that Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan are not just colleagues of a certain industry, but also share a great friendship off screen which makes their mutual admiration even more appealing and genuine.

Bandla Ganesh: Probably this is the only person who gets the widest cheer and appreciation from Pawan Kalyan fans. He makes sure he delivers entertaining speeches with power packed intensity. He always proves that he is more a Pawan Kalyan fan than a producer or a screen actor.

His comparison of Pawan Kalyan with the likes of Subash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Lal Bahaddur Shastri, Mahatma Gandhi etc., along with the description and association drawn between them made the venue burst into a high decibel sound for a complete duration of 4 minutes. It was his final slogan which received extensive ovation where he quotes "My name is Bandla Ganesh, My god is Pawan Kalyan".

Pawan Kalyan: Finally, the centre of attraction himself. The stylish icon was clad in Dhoti and Kurta which made him look more desi and gave him a politician appeal. The dynamic actor spoke and connected to his fans throughout his speech.
His description of characters he played in few of his movies and its importance to the mankind or society was very well described. His gestures, smile and the way he rendered the speech which was not just entertaining with quick wits but also was motivational of sorts.

He also amazed the audience by revealing the storyline though the unit tends to reserve the same till the movie hits theatres to build the suspense (even if the movie is a remake). He poured showers of praise on his elder brother, K. Chiranjeevi, where he quoted "I never feel myself as a hero as Annaya Chiranjeevi is the hero for me".

Going by the trend and the craze being followed, it more or less seems to set a straight all-time day 1 record in AP/TG circuits. We wish Katamarayudu to be huge blockbuster.
