Sanjay Dutt Would Emerge As Bigger Star, Says Rahul Roy
Rahul Roy stated that Sanjay Dutt would emerge as a bigger star in the coming days and is glad that a movie was made on him. He further stated that three hours was very less for his biopic.
Actor
Rahul
Roy
today
said
he
was
sure
that
Sanjay
Dutt
would
emerge
as
a
bigger
star,
as
he
lauded
Sanju,
the
biopic
on
the
controversy-mired
Bollywood
star.
"It
is
a
good
thing
that
such
a
movie
was
made
about
him,
but
I
don't
think
two
or
three
hours
are
not
enough
to
shed
light
on
his
life...
Anybody
can
do
a
mistake
and
he
already
paid
for
his
mistake
in
accordance
with
the
law
of
the
land,
he
said.
"I'm
sure
Dutt
would
emerge
as
a
much
bigger
star," said
Roy,
who
worked
with
Dutt
in
"Gumrah"
(1993).
The
actor
was
here
to
inaugurate
'Talent
Makers',
Jammu's
first
acting
school.
Roy
said
he
was
not
in
production
area
but
every
time
he
got
a
chance,
he
fielded
a
newcomer
or
a
junior
artist.
Former
deputy
chief
minister
and
senior
BJP
leader
Kavinder
Gupta,
who
was
the
chief
guest,
appreciated
that
now
talented
artists
from
Jammu
would
not
have
to
spend
money
at
big
cities
for
technical
guidance
as
it
would
be
available
at
their
hometown.
Also,
reports
were
doing
the
rounds
that
Rajkumar
Hirani
is
all
set
to
make
a
sequel
on
Sanju,
as
Sanjay
Dutt
hugged
him
after
the
movie
and
apparently
told
him
to
do
a
sequel,
as
he
has
a
lot
more
stories
to
tell
the
audiences,
as
many
incidents
were
missed
in
the
biopic.
While
Sanjay
Dutt
and
Ranbir
Kapoor's
fans
were
excited
about
the
sequel,
Rajkumar
Hirani
cleared
the
air
in
a
recent
interview
stating
that
a
sequel
to
Sanju
will
not
happen.
Coming
to
Sanju's
box
office
performance,
the
biopic
has
done
wonders
and
collected
Rs
284.83
Crore
on
its
second
Wednesday
(Day
12)
and
will
ented
the
Rs
300
Crore
mark
really
soon.
Now
that
the
third
weekend
is
near,
the
box
office
collection
of
Sanju
will
get
a
boost
and
stand
tall
for
another
week
to
come.
