Basanth
Kumar
Patil,
the
president
of
the
Karnataka
Chamber
of
Commerce
(KFCC),
has
heavily
come
down
upon
the
media
especially
Television
media
over
its
exclusive
coverage
on
Wednesday's
controversy
surrounding
the
release
of
Sudeep
movie
Kempe
Gowda.
He
hurled
his
anger
against
TV
channels
by
calling
their
coverage
as
'wrong
reporting
and
scrolling'
on
the
affairs
of
the
film
chamber.
The
President
of
KFCC
spoke
to
the
media
after
the
re-conciliatory
meeting
held
on
Wednesday
evening.
Basanth
Kumar
Patil
denied
the
reports
that
the
KFCC
had
planned
to
stall
the
release
of
Sudeep
starrer
movie
Kempe
Gowda.
He
said
that
there
was
no
question
of
stalling
the
movie,
but
the
KFCC
was
discussing
about
the
issue
of
requirement
of
a
large
number
of
theatres
for
the
film.
Meanwhile,
Patil
also
denied
making
any
insulting
remarks
against
Sudeep.
He
held
the
TV
media
responsible
for
creating
a
controversy
by
repeatedly
scrolling
the
incident,
which
created
confusions
among
Sudeep
fans.
He
requested
the
media
not
come
to
chamber
unnecessarily.
He
said,
“You
will
be
called
by
us
whenever
we
require
you
to
report
some
news."
However,
media
reporters
went
to
the
KFCC
only
after
hearing
that
Sudeep
fans
had
gathered
in
front
of
the
Chamber
and
it
had
created
a
traffic
jam
in
Shivananda
Circle
area.
They
gathered
information
about
the
controversy
of
Kempe
Gowda
from
producers
and
other
office
bearers
at
the
KFCC.
But
the
reporters
are
upset
with
the
remarks
made
against
them
by
the
KFCC
president.
