Mammootty to play TV reporter in News Maker

Superstar Mammootty is one Malayalam actor, who has been getting variety of roles. The latest offer to come his way is the role of a journalist. Yes! The actor is all set to play a TV reporter in his forthcoming movie News Maker, which is being directed by Puthiya Mukham fame Deepan.

News Maker is produced by Mammooty's close friend George under the banner of Silsil Celluloid. Vinod Guruvayur has penned the screenplay for the movie, which will have Ratheesh Vega's music and Murukan Kaattakada's lyrics. The heroine is yet to be finalised. The film is expected to hit the floor in January, 2012.

However, Mammootty is one of the most popular stars of Malayalam film industry. Several reporters from TV or portal or a newspaper media yearn to his exclusive interview.
