movies

getting
its
remakes
in
Tamil,
Kannada,
Telugu
and
even
in
Hindi.
Drishyam
is
the
latest
movie
to
get
remakes
in
all
these
languages.
It
was
earlier
reported
that
Joy
Mathew's
movie
Shutter
is
getting
its
Hindi
remake.
Now,
Alphonse
Putharen,
who
was
supposed
to
remake
the
movie
in
Hindi,
says
that
the
project
has
been
cancelled.
Alphonse
Putharen,
who
rose
to
fame
as
a
director
with
his
debut
movie
Neram,
starring
Nivin
Pauly
and
Nazriya
Nazim,
says
that
he
has
finally
decided
to
drop
the
project.
The
director
had
earlier
approached
actors
like
Abhay
Deol,
Prithviraj
and
Anil
Kapoor
as
a
part
of
the
film,
to
play
the
lead.
Alphonse
announced
the
cancellation
of
the
project
through
his
official
Facebook
page.
He
shared
his
immense
disappointment
when
he
said
that
he
is
dropping
the
Shutter
remake
project.
But,
adding
on,
he
said
that
he
and
his
team
will
be
back
with
yet
another
Malayalam
movie.
He
said
that
the
movie
will
be
produced
by
Anwar
Rasheed.
He
also
said
that
the
title
of
the
film
and
the
rest
of
the
details
will
be
announced
on
February
14,
the
Valentine's
Day.
