Loham,
the
Mohanlal
starrer
movie
directed
by
Ranjith,
hit
the
theatres
yesterday
(August
20th).
According
to
latest
reports
from
the
trade
analysts,
Loham
has
collected
2.2
crores
from
the
Kerala
box
office,
on
the
first
day
of
release.
When
the
outside
Kerala
collections
are
also
considered,
the
movie
has
collected
about
3.5
crores
on
its
releasing
day.
The
movie
has
been
receiving
mixed
to
positive
reviews
from
the
audience
and
critics.
As
per
the
box
office
collection
reports,
Loham
is
doing
fairly
well
at
the
box
office
and
has
already
been
declared
as
a
hit.
The
movie
is
running
in
about
250
screens
all
over
India,
with
1000
shows
per
day.
Reportedly,
some
special
screenings
of
Loham
have
been
arranged
at
some
important
releasing
centres
of
Kerala,
due
to
the
heavy
rush
of
the
audience.
The
movie
is
expected
to
be
released
in
more
cities
by
the
next
weekend.
The
Onam
season
is
already
on
the
track
with
the
release
of
Loham.
But
it
is
a
fact
that
the
movie
failed
to
impress
the
audience
as
expected.
Undoubtedly,
it
is
a
cold
start
for
the
Onam
season.
Loham
failed
to
make
a
mark
due
to
the
over
expectations
over
the
project.
But,
on
the
other
hand,
Loham
is
definitely
a
great
relief
for
Mohanlal,
who
has
been
tasting
consecutive
failures
since
last
two
years.
