Manju Warrier To Play A 20-Year-Old Girl!

Manju Warrier is all set to play yet another powerful role in her career. The actress will play a 20-year-old girl in the upcoming movie Jo And The Boy, directed by Philips And The Monkey Pen fame Rojin Thomas.

Reportedly, Manju Warrier has shed about 10 kilos for the perfection of the role. She is essaying the title role Jo in the movie, which will also have popular child artist Sanoop Santhosh in a pivotal role.

Malayali audience are not much familiar with the physical transformations of the leading ladies. Actors like Jayasurya have experimented with their looks and physique for the perfection of the roles; but for an actress, it is a rare thing.

Jo And The Boy is the fourth movie project of Manju Warrier, after she made a comeback into acting.Lalu Alex, Sudheer Karamana, and Pearle Maaney will play the other key roles in the movie.

The movie, which has already started rolling, will be shot at the various locations of Kodaikanal and Ladakh. More details regarding the theme, cast and the crew of the movie will be announced soon.

Rani Padmini, the upcoming Manju Warrier-Rima Kallingal movie directed by Aashiq Abu will hit the theatres by the last week of October. The actress will next join the sets of Rajesh Pillai's psycho-thiller.
