Sidharth
Bharathan,
the
actor-director
who
recently
met
with
a
road
accident,
is
admitted
in
Medical
Trust
hospital,
Kochi
in
a
critical
condition.
According
to
the
doctors,
Sidharth
has
been
suffering
with
a
serious
head
injury.
The
exact
staus
could
only
be
determined
after
24
hours
of
observation,
as
Sidharth
has
been
diagnosed
with
a
bleeding
in
the
brain.
The
32-year-old
met
with
the
accident
at
2
am
on
Saturday,
near
Chambakkara,
Kochi.
Sidharth
is
the
son
of
legendary
director
Bharathan
and
veteran
actress
KPAC
Lalitha.
He
has
an
elder
sister
named
Sree
Kutty.
He
was
married
to
TV
anchor
Anju
Das;
but
the
couple
later
got
divorced,
citing
irreconcilable
differences.
The
news
has
deeply
saddened
the
Malayalam
movie
industry.
Popular
actors
and
technicians
from
the
industry,
including
Mammootty
and
Dileep
have
recently
visited
the
young
actor
at
the
hospital.
Dileep
has
played
the
lead
role
in
Sidharth
Bharathan's
latest
directorial
venture
Chandrettan
Evideya,
which
was
a
decent
hit.
He
was
preparing
for
his
next
venture,
in
which
he
associated
Dileep
once
again.
Sidharth
made
his
acting
debut
with
Kamal
directed
Nammal,
in
the
lead
role.
Later,
he
opted
for
filmmaking
and
made
his
directorial
debut
with
the
remake
of
his
father's
classic
movie
Nidra,
in
which
he
also
essayed
the

role.
