Tigers Trailer: Emraan Hashmi On A Quest To Save Lives; A True Story Re-created Well

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi's advent into the digital world has been quite intriguing. Recently, the trailer of the film Tigers was released. It stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead, who plays the role of a middle-class man, trying to save lives of infants, who are affected by formula milk produced by the company he works for. Emraan's fans will get to see the actor in a rather different role compared to his previous projects. Post the trailer launch, the series has already received positive reviews.

The film is directed by the renowned Danis Tanovic, who has won an Oscar previously for his 2001 movie No Man's Land. The movie was nominated in the same category as Lagaan in 2001. Tigers was premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2014.

Hollywood Reporter's review on Tigers stated, "The salesman who blew the whistle on the baby food scandal in Pakistan becomes an inspiring story of personal courage portrayed by popular young Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi." Indiewire noted, "Tanovic is a highly skilled director, and his crafting of this story in tandem with an excellent 'everyman' performance from Bollywood star Hashmi is surefooted and compelling. The clean lines of narrative fiction, almost simplistically put forward here, actually help our understanding of the great wrong the company is engaged in."

Tigers will be premiered worldwide on ZEE5 on November 21, 2018. The film is based on a true story that talks about the infamous Nestle baby food scandal that affected the US, Europe and a part of South East Asia in the 90s and early 2000.
