Bigg Boss 14 Grand Finale Written Update: Rubina Dilaik Is The Winner Of The Show, Rahul Vaidya Comes Second
The much-awaited Bigg Boss 14 grand finale is being held tonight (February 21). As revealed earlier, the grand finale is going to be an extravagant evening filled with spectacular performances and endless entertainment. The five contestants - Rubina Dilaik, Rahul Vaidya, Aly Goni, Rakhi Sawant and Nikki Tamboli - managed to reach the finale after their 140 days of their stay in the Bigg Boss house.
Host Salman Khan is going to perform on some of his super hit songs whilst the finalists will be seen together for one last time before the most deserving contestant lifts the trophy.
Here are the LIVE UPDATES from the Bigg Boss 14 grand finale episode:
9.02 PM: Jasmin Bhasin welcomes Salman Khan on the stage and the two dance on a song. Salman makes a great entry and makes a special announcement and says that the voting lines will be opened for a limited amount of time. The fans will once again get a chance to vote for their favourite finalists.
9.06 PM: The host talks about this season and points out that there were maximum contestants, who entered the house again post their evictions. In the next frame, we see Salman making fun of Abhinav Shukla by taking Rakhi Sawant’s name. This happens after he shows us all the love stories that bloomed in the house this season. Salman also talks about 'new words' such as Nalla and Takkabbur that were used on the show.
9.14 PM: Salman introduces and welcomes the finalists’ family members in the audience. Later, we see Bigg Boss introducing the top 5 finalists - Rahul Vaidya, Nikki Tamboli, Rubina Dilaik, Aly Goni and Rakhi Sawant. He congratulates them for making this season a huge success.
9.18 PM: Salman meets the finalists. The top 5 enjoy the success of the season with some fruit champagne.
9.23 PM: Salman Khan reveals Dance Deewane 3 will be replacing the show and makes a video call to Madhuri Dixit, who introduces the top five finalists in her style.
9.36 PM: Rakhi Sawant gives some power-packed performances. She also brings to fore her 'Julie' avatar and entertains the audience. Salman praises her for her performance. He even lauds her efforts to stay active in the final week. The actor then tells Rakhi that they will be sending Rakhi’s husband in the house. But we see a twist in the show and it's Riteish Deshmukh, who enters the house. He tells the finalists that he has come for all of them and takes them to the theatre room.
9.45 PM: Riteish Deshmukh introduces a Rs 14 Lakh rupee briefcase. He tells them that they will be given ten seconds time to press the buzzer and take the money. Rakhi immediately hits the buzzer and takes home the money and exits herself from the winner’s race.
9.50 PM: Salman welcomes her on stage. He talks to her and asks her a few questions. He then informs her that she didn’t get the highest votes, and congratulates her for deciding to take the money.

10.02 PM: Salman reveals Aly got fewer votes compared to the other three contestants. Aly exits the house while Nikki cries. Salman welcomes Aly on stage and gifts him a bracelet. Aly says Rahul should win and Nikki doesn’t deserve to be inside.
10.07 PM: Salman welcomes Nora Fatehi and she sets the stage on fire with her sizzling performances. She then joins Salman and they meet the top 3 finalists. Salman schools Nikki for her reaction after Aly’s exit.
10.15 PM: Nora informs the finalists that she has a magic lamp. As one of Nora's wish, we see Eijaz Khan proposing her in Bollywood style. This is followed by Sonali Phogat grooving with Nora.
10.29 PM: Salman and Nora perform the latter’s hook steps. Aly comes on stage to help Salman with the 'Saki Saki’ step. Salman and Nora then move towards the 'Garmi’ step and have a ball.
10.35 PM: Later, we see Dharmesh and Tushar from Dance Deewane joining Salman on stage. Sonali Phogat matches steps with them and also dances with the host. And next, Eijaz Khan matches steps with Dharmesh on 'Ghungroo’ song. DD 3’s contestant Sohel's breathtaking performance on Salman’s song leaves everyone stunned. This is followed by the next contestant of Dance Deewane 3, Jamuna making an entry and entertaining everyone with her performance.
10.54 PM: Salman welcomes yesteryear superstar Dharmendra on stage with his trademark 'Yamla Pagla Deewana’ song. Salman Khan dances along with the veteran actor.
11.12 PM: While talking with Salman, Dharmendra reveals that he became an actor after watching Dilip Kumar and to get the same love he got. This is followed by Aly and Jasmin's romantic performance. 'Love Guru’ Dharmendra advises Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla on their marriage and tells them to love each other from their heart. We then see Salman and Dharmendra recreate an iconic scene from Sholay. Rakhi Sawant also comes on board to fill Hema Malini’s shoes.
11.22 PM: Next comes Rahul and Aly's performance, where they show their bond of friendship. Later, Nikki also joins them in a dance number.
11.36 PM: Salman introduces Colors family’s new members from the shows, Udaariyaan and Bawara Dil. The cast members of the new shows give beautiful performances. This is followed by performances from the leads of Choti Sarrdaarni, Barrister Babu and Namak Issk Ka.
12.08 AM: Salman Khan opens a golden envelope and reveals the names of the top two finalists. He first takes Rubina’s name followed by Rahul as the second finalist. Nikki Tamboli is out of the finale race.
12.12 AM: Rahul Vaidya and Rubina Dilaik also make an exit from the Bigg Boss house and move towards the garden area. Bigg Boss lauds them and we see the duo give a power-packed performance on the title track of Salman Khan's Race 3.
12.22 AM Salman welcomes the top two finalists on stage. He tells them that the whole nation feels there are equal chances of their victory. The actor introduces the BB 14 trophy.
12.27 AM Rubina Dilaik becomes the winner of Bigg Boss Season 14. Salman Khan raises Rubina’s hand and she gets the trophy while Rahul Vaidya becomes 1st runner-up.
