Balakrishna snubs Meher Ramesh

Balakrishna, who had agreed to act in Meher Ramesh's proposed project, has snubbed the director. The actor, who is busy with Sri Rama Rajyam and yet to be titled Paruchuri Murali's next film, has reportedly told Meher to drop the project.

Industry insiders say that Balakrishna had assured to act in Meher Ramesh's film but recently released Shakti's poor performance at the box-office has made the actor to shelve the project. The movie, which was made with a mammoth budget of Rs. 45 crore, has got poor response from the audience and critics.

It is well-known that in the film industry, people always prefer betting on a winning horse. Now, that Meher Ramesh's Shakti has miserably failed, many actors and producers are thinking twice before giving the nod, says a report.
