Mahesh Babu Begins Filming For Srinu Vaitla's Aagadu

After the huge success of Dookudu, Superstar Mahesh Babu is once again joining hands with director Srinu Vaitla and this combo's second, which has been titled Aagadu, had an opening ceremony on October 25. Both director and actor are kick-starting its formal shooting today. The members of the production team, who are all excited to shoot the film, shared their excitement on their Twitter pages.

Anil Sunkara is jointly producing the film Aagadu with Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta under the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment, which had earlier produced Dookudu. The elated producer tweeted, "Today starts with AAGADU with our beloved super star and our dearest @SreenuVaitla. Its an honour to be a part of this team."

Director Srinu Vaitla's wife Roopa, who was the costume designer for Dookudu, also confirmed the shooting of Aagadu. On her Twitter page, she wrote, "First day of shooting...:):) All the best to the entire team of #Aagadu" Meanwhile, Vennela Kishore, who is playing an important role in the film, tweeted, "First day of #Aagadu .. EXCITEDDDDDDDDD."

For the first time in his career, Mahesh Babu will be seen romancing actress Tamanna Bhatia in Aagadu. It was recently rumoured that Taapsee Pannu would play second female lead in the movie, but the makers are yet to confirm it. Musician SS Thaman is scoring music for it. Having started its regular shooting from today, the film unit hopes to wrap up the film by April 2014. Let us wish good luck to the Aagadu team.
