Tollywood Celebrities' spend a life with a bed of roses said many, they also face extreme stress and depression in every day life said none. The paradox of fame and money is sometimes spine chilling.
Many of the young, beautiful and talented actors and actresses of Tollywood have met the fate they did not deserve. But they have surely made the most of the little time they have spent here with us.
While many of them committed suicide because of the dark sides of glitz and glam, few of them left us in some sudden tragic incidents. Apparently, Tollywood has lost great talent to death.
However, the actors are still remembered for their remarkable work they have done before their untimely death. Let us take a moment and look back at those actors and actresses, whom we have lost at a young age.
Soundarya
Soundarya, who doesn't need any introduction, died in an aircraft crash on April 17, 2004 when she was on her way to Andhra Pradesh to campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party for the upcoming elections.
Divya Bharati
Around 11:45 PM of 5 April 1993, Bharti fell to death from a five-storey building in Mumbai. There was much speculation by the media regarding Bharti's sudden demise, including the possibility of suicide, accidental death, conspiracy or even murder. It still remains a mystery.
Silk Smitha
At 11.30 a.m, on September 23, 1996, Smitha was found to be dead in her Chennai apartment home, hanging by a rope from the ceiling fan of her bedroom. She had left a suicide note in which she had written that she was frustrated with repeated failures in her life.
Pratyusha
Prathyusha died on 23 February 2002 after committing suicide in a suicide pact with her boyfriend Siddhartha Reddy.In 2004, Siddhartha Reddy was sentenced to five years' imprisonment as he was found guilty of suicide attempt and abetting Pratyusha to commit suicide.
Uday Kiran
Kiran committed suicide on 5 January 2014. He reportedly hanged himself inside his flat in Srinagar colony, Punjagutta, Hyderabad. Though exact reasons were not revealed, Kiran had suffered from depression due to financial crisis for almost a year.
Sri Hari
It was while he was shooting for the movie R... Rajkumar where he complained of giddiness and was rushed to Lilavati Hospital. On 9 October 2013, he died in Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai,after suffering from a liver ailment. He was buried next to his daughter's grave.
Fatafat Jayalakshmi
Fatafat Jayalakshmi allegedly fell in love with MGR's nephew. The love rejection reportedly made her to commit suicide.
Chakri
According to media reports, Chakri didn't wake up from bed on 15 December morning despite repeated attempts by his wife Sravani, doctors pronounced his death at around 7.45 AM. Chakri had been suffering from Obesity and related ailments. His death was most likely due to heart attack.
Yasho Sagar
Yasho Sagar is best known for his role in Ullasamga Utsahamga (2008). His film career was short lived where he died in a car accident along with 2 friends on 25 December 2012.
Charan Reddy
Charan, who acted as hero in the 2001 film Ishtam died of liver failure due to alcoholism. Charan, whose full name was Charan Reddy, married Supriya, grand daughter of Akkeneni Nageswara Rao.
Kunal Singh
On 7 February 2008, he was found hanging from a ceiling in his Mumbai apartment by actress Lavina Bhatia. The apparent suicide was challenged by his father Rajendra Singh who claimed the body showed signs of suspicious bruising. The case on Bhatia was detained by the court as police could not gather any evidence.
