Pooja
Bhatt's
latest
directorial
venture
Jism
2,
which
received
a
decent
response
at
the
Indian
Box
Office,
had
a
very
poor
beginning
at
the
overseas
Box
Office.
Sunny
Leone
starrer
A-rated
movie
has
failed
to
rake
in
even
50
lakhs
from
the
collection
centres
in
three
foreign
countries
like
USA,
UK
and
Australia
in
two
days.
Jism
2,
which
had
a
wide
release
in
America
on
Friday,
had
a
very
dismal
opening
at
the
USA
Box
Office.
The
erotic
thriller
has
collected
Rs
5.40
lakhs
($9,697)
on
the
first
day
of
its
release
in
the
country.
Its
business
improved,
but
it
was
not
upto
to
the
mark.
It
added
Rs
5.90
lakhs
($10,586)
on
Saturday
to
its
two-day
total
Rs
11.30
lakhs
($20,283).
This
romance
thriller
also
had
a
wide
release
on
Friday
in
UK,
where
it
had
a
lackluster
opening.
Jism
2
has
collected
Rs
3.83
lakhs
(£4,393)
at
the
UK
Box
Office
on
the
first
day
of
its
release.
The
movie
did
not
witness
a
big
jump
in
its
business
on
Saturday.
It
added
Rs
4.58
lakhs
(£5,253)
to
its
two-day
total
Rs
8.41
lakhs
(£9,646).
Jism
2
also
had
a
poor
opening
in
Australia
with
its
collection
crossing
Rs
2.93
lakhs
(A$4,973)
on
Friday.
The
movie
added
another
Rs
3.44
lakhs
(A$5,854)
to
its
two-day
total
Rs
6.38
lakhs
(A$10,827).
Overall,
the
film
has
collected
approximately
Rs
26.10
lakhs
in
two
days
from
the
collection
centres
in
three
countries.
Its
performance
seems
to
be
worse
than
the
collection
of
recent
Telugu
movie
Eega,
which
had
collected
Rs
23.51
lakhs
($42,409)
from
a
very
limited
number
of
screens
in
USA
on
its
opening
day
(Thursday).
However,
Mahesh
Bhatt
productions
has
a
history
of
their
Box
Office
performance
in
the
international
market.
His
previous
movies
have
done
well
at
the
domestic
Box
Office,
but
they
had
an
average
collection
overseas.
His
recent
release
Jannat
2
had
collected
nearly
Rs
2
crores
from
the
collection
centres
in
UAE,
the
Middle
East,
USA,
UK,
Pakistan
and
few
other
countries.
