Detective
Byomkesh
Bakshy
opened
to
rave
reviews
on
Friday
but
sadly
it's
Box
Office
Business
was
affected
by
the
release
of
Vin
Diesel's
Furious
7
which
is
doing
very
well
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
On
the
opening
day,
Sushant
Singh
Rajput
starrer
Detective
Byomkesh
Bakshy
made
around
Rs
4.20
crores,
according
to
trade
experts
it
should
have
picked
up
drastically
on
Saturday
but
unfortunately
it
made
only
Rs
4.50
crores
on
Saturday.
So
tallying
the
two
days
Box
Office
collection
the
film
has
made
just
Rs
₹
8.70
crores
India
business.
Trade
expert
Taran
Adarsh
had
tweeted,
"#DetectiveByomkeshBakshy
Fri
4.20
cr,
Sat
4.50
cr.
Total:
₹
8.70
cr.
India
biz."
The
movie
released
in
over
1240
screens
in
India
and
the
International
screen
count
was
330
screens.
So
totally
the
Worldwide
screen
count
was
1570
screens.
With
this
screen
count,
the
movie
should
have
made
more
business
but
since
it
is
targeting
the
urban
multiplex
audience
where
Furious
7
is
giving
a
tough
competition,
things
did
not
work
out
as
expected.
Sunday
collections
are
have
soared
higher,
with
Rs
5.36.
crores
collection
on
Day
3.
This
will
bring
the
total
Box
Office
collection
of
first
weekend,
i.e
three
days
Box
Office
collection
to
Rs
14.06
crores
approximately.
