Detective Byomkesh Bakshy First Weekend (3 Days) Box Office Collections

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy opened to rave reviews on Friday but sadly it's Box Office Business was affected by the release of Vin Diesel's Furious 7 which is doing very well at the Indian Box Office.

On the opening day, Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Detective Byomkesh Bakshy made around Rs 4.20 crores, according to trade experts it should have picked up drastically on Saturday but unfortunately it made only Rs 4.50 crores on Saturday.

So tallying the two days Box Office collection the film has made just Rs ₹ 8.70 crores India business. Trade expert Taran Adarsh had tweeted, "#DetectiveByomkeshBakshy Fri 4.20 cr, Sat 4.50 cr. Total: ₹ 8.70 cr. India biz."

The movie released in over 1240 screens in India and the International screen count was 330 screens. So totally the Worldwide screen count was 1570 screens. With this screen count, the movie should have made more business but since it is targeting the urban multiplex audience where Furious 7 is giving a tough competition, things did not work out as expected.

Sunday collections are have soared higher, with Rs 5.36. crores collection on Day 3. This will bring the total Box Office collection of first weekend, i.e three days Box Office collection to Rs 14.06 crores approximately.
