Confirming the news, Harshaali Malhotra's mother Kajal told Pinkvilla, ‘' Katrina Kaif had come to the sets while the Aaj Ki Party song was being shot.''

Kajal Malhotra further added,‘'Harshaali is a big fan of her (Katrina), so she didn't think of anything and she just went up to her, spoke, introduced herself and came back.''

‘'She then took my phone to take a picture, got the picture clicked and came back. It was a big day for her," Kajal added.

Kajal also told that Harshaali was offered to play the role of young Katrina Kaif, "When the first teaser of Bajrangi Bhaijaan was released, Harshaali was approached to play Katrina's childhood role in a film. I rejected it because I don't want Harshaali to do a 5-6 minutes cameo appearance. ‘'
