Kevin
Macdonald
and
Gladiator
fame
Sir
Ridley
Scott
have
teamed
up
to
create
a
feature
documentary
film
based
on
videos
submitted
by
YouTube
users.
The
film
is
titled
Life
in
A
Day,
which
will
be
produced
by
Sir
Ridley
Scott.
Macdonald
will
edit
and
compile
the
best
footage
uploaded
by
the
users
across
the
globe
into
a
documentary
film.
Are
you

to
take
part
in
the
movie
making?
Don't
worry.
All
you
need
to
do
is
shoot
a
portion
of
your
day
on
July
24
and
upload
the
video
to
the
Life
in
a
Day
Youtube
channel.
If
your
video
is
selected,
you
will
be
considered
as
the
co-director
of
the
film
Life
in
A
Day.
YouTube
will
even
be
distributing
hundreds
of
cameras
in
developing
countries
so
that
even
people
who
don"t
usually
tape
themselves
can
participate.
The
film
Life
in
A
Day
will
be
premiered
at
the
Sundance
Film
Festival,
in
Salt
Lake
City,
Utah,
in
January
2011.
Selected
20
members,
whose
videos
are
used
in
the
final
copy
of
the
film,
will
get
a
chance
to
attend
the
screening
of
the
film
at
Sundance.
