Bye Bye Madhubala And Uttaran, Welcome Meri Aashiqui.. And Shastriji Ki Betiyaan!

Colors TV is ready with their upcoming new shows, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi and Shastriji Ki Betiyaan replacing old shows Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Uttaran.

While Shastriji Ki... will take Madhubala's slot at 8:30 pm, the most awaited Ekta Kapoor's cinderella show will take Uttaran's prime slot at 10 pm. While the promos of both the shows are making rounds over the internet, a lot of talk is regarding the Ekta Kapoor's show, Meri Ashiqui...

Meri Aashiqi Tum Se Hi, is based on the classic love story Cinderella. But this time around the story will have the lead roles exchange places. There will be a princess, Ishaani, in the story instead of a prince and in place of a humble Cinderella will be Ranveer. The show starring Shakti Arora as Ranveer and Radhika Madan as Ishaani, will hit the small screen from 24th June.

By the first look it is clear that Ranveer and Ishaani would have grown up together. While ishaani plays the rich, bubbly, innocent and of course beautiful heiress, Ranveer would play the poor boy working in her father's empire.

Ranveer would be forever be in love with Ishaani and she would stay innocently unaware of his secret love for her. This would apparently be the base of the story on which the show will build. Though there have been a number of shows based on the same classic fairy tale, not many have managed to stay in the viewers' minds.

With Ekta Kapoor's success rate, this show too has a high potential of becoming yet another super hit show.
