Siddharth bags first international project

It seems success or failure does not make much difference to Siddharth. His recent movie Bava, may have failed at box-office, but it has not stopped him from getting offers. Now, he has bagged an international film to his kitty, which is directed by critically-acclaimed director Deepa Mehta.

The movie is screen-adaptation of Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children. The historical fiction is set in the backdrop of post-independence era. The story revolves around British colonialism and independence. The movie also features Shreya Saran, Seema Biswas, Shabana Azmi, Nandita Das, Rahul Bose and Irrfan Khan.

However, he is currently busy in P Jeyandran's bilingual movie 180. He is also doing Prakash Rao Kovelamudi's fantasy film Anagananga Oka Dheerudu and Venu Sriram's musical film Oh My Friend.
