Tevar trailer came out recently, the movie starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha reminds us of something doesn't it? Well, if you din't get it, go see the trailer again and tell me if it doesn't remind you of Shahid Kapoor's R... Rajkumar.

Firstly Sonakshi Sinha stars in both the movies, secondly the plot of both these movies seem exactly the same. Villain after heroine, hero rescues heroine and hero falls for the heroine. Story doesn't end here, villain tries to marry heroine and hero fights, bleeds and finally rescues heroine, there a happy ending.

Well, it is sad to see that within a span of one year, two movies have come with same story line. We know Bollywood recycles a lot of stories but within a year. Prabhu Deva might have made R... Rajkumar starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha by taking inspiration from the Telugu flick Okkadu and now with the Hindi remake of Okkadu that is Tevar starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha coming to theatres, audiences are going to feel one major case of Deja Vu.

Recently when I questioned Arjun Kapoor on how different the Hindi remake, Tevar would be to the Telugu flick that starred Mahesh Babu and Bhumika Chawla. This is what the actor had to say, "It's adapted for a pan India audience so it's crisper...also pintoo is more of an ordinary boy in an extraordinary situation."

Arjun has surely worked a lot for this film, but has he realized how close his movie is to Sonakshi's older film. Plot of the story is also quite similar where the villain is obsessed with the heroine and hero comes to her rescue.

Backdrop Of The Story

Both the movies seem to based in a small town with the local don causing all the problems.

Same To Same

Yet another scene from the movie which is extremely similar to each other only the hero has changed.

Romance Angle

In both these stories the heroine doesn't immediately fall for the hero, he pursues her and obviously the action scenes impress her and she falls head over heels in love with the hero.

Same Heroine

Not only the stories and the personality of the hero matches, both the films have the same lead heroine as well. Her looks are slightly changed but she more or less looks the same to me. In songs too she sports similar looks.

Villain

The look of the villain and his characterization seem quite similar don't they.
