The
controversy
surrounding
three
BJP
ministers
like
Laxman
Savdi,
CC
Patil
and
Krishna
Palemar,
watching
porn
film
on
mobile
phone
during
assembly
proceedings
is
not
just
an
issue
of
the
Karnataka,
but
it
has
become
a
serious
concern
of
the
whole
country.
Several
Bollywood
celebrities
have
expressed
shock
and
dismay
over
the
shameful
act
of
Karnataka
legislators.
Music
composer-singer
Vishal
Dadlani
took
to
his
Twitter
page
and
wrote,
"Politicians
watch
porn.
What
a
shock!
Some
drink
and
do
drugs!
They
take
bribes
too.
Big
ones!
I'm
surprised
that
we're
acting
surprised!
How
upset
we
are
that
politicians
watched
porn
in
Parliament!"
Filmmaker
Pritish
Nandy
tweeted,
"We
must
be
the
world's
most
hypocritical
nation.
3
idiot
ministers
watching
porn
in
the
Assembly
is
a
laugh,
not
a
political
issue.
Porn
is
an
intrinsic
part
of
all
politics.
Ask
Silvio
Berlusconi.
Ask
ND
Tewari.
Ask
those
who
followed
JFK
and
his
Camelot
years."
Another
maverick
filmmaker
Ram
Gopal
Varma,
who
has
often
shown
controversies
in
his
movies,
has
also
poked
fun
at
them
by
describing
their
act
as
sign
of
an
emerging
and
shining
India.
On
his
Twitter
page,
he
wrote,
"Ministers
watching
porn
in
the
assembly
is
a
sure
sign
of
an
emerging
and
shining
India...jai
ho."
However,
three
BJP
ministers
in
the
Sadananda
Gowda
government,
namely
Laxman
Savdi,
CC
Patil
and
Krishna
Palemar,
were
caught
on
camera
watching
porn
on
mobile
phone
during
assembly
proceedings.
They
have
already
put
down
their
papers
today
following
the
furore
over
the
incident.
