Ranveer Singh is soon going to face a litmus test like he has never seen before in his career, as two of his movies Simmba and Gully Boy are going to hit the theatres in a short gap. While Simmba is all set to hit the theatres on December 28, 2018, his next movie Gully Boy will release just 7 weeks later on that is on Valentine's Day, 2019. Now that the actor has back-to-back releases with a gap of just 49 days, we'll have to wait and see if he has the capacity to make the audiences hit the theatres twice in a row. It's a big task and we're sure that he's geared up for it as well.

If Ranveer Singh's Simmba works well at the box office and is liked by the audiences, then Gully Boy will attract the same crowd all over again boosting its box office prospects. Kangana Ranaut is also on the same radar as Ranveer Singh, as both her movies Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi and Mental Hai Kya are releasing within a short gap. While Manikarnika is set to hit the theatres on Republic Day, 2019, Mental Hai Kya was scheduled to release in February, 2019. However, the film-makers sensed danger as the time period is too short and postponed the release to March, 2019.
