Jodha Akbar: Mewar Fights Back With Full Vigour

Jodha Akbar 20th October written episode: The Mughal troop comes in front of the fort of Chitor. Akbar tells Todarmal that he wants to give a message to Kumar Pratap and Rana Uday Singh before the battle. He insists on going alone in front of the fort, without taking security forces.

As soon as the Emperor goes in front of the fort, arrows block his path. He says that he has come in front of the Chitor Fort without any protection and the soldiers of Mewar can take the chance of killing him. The Mewar lieutenants answer that Rajbanshi people never go against the rule of law.

The Mughal troop starts their attack on the fort and the Rajbanshi soldiers strongly fight back. Man Singh and Todarmal say that the people inside the fort will run out of ration soon and will be compelled to surrender.

Akbar says that he never intends to take the favour of situation. He insists on breaking into the fort. The fort walls are hit by fire weapons repeatedly. The Mewar lieutenants understand that the enemies will break into the fort very soon.

The Rajbanshi soldiers are instructed to take Kesaria Bala, the oath of ‘do or die’. The ladies are instructed to get ready for the holy Jauhar. A big fire is lit inside the fort for the women, to meet the most desired end for Rajbanshi women if the men are killed by the enemies.

Akbar and his troop break into the fort. Akbar tries to know where Kumar Pratap is. The Rajbanshi officers refuse giving any information. Akbar sees a child in the war field and proceeds towards it.
