Aamir Khan Faces Heat On Twitter For Slamming AIB Roast
AIB Roast controversy nearly got over after the team deleted the video from YouTube, however, a recent comment from Aamir Khan raised the issue back.
While, several Bollywood stars expressed support for the recently held AIB Roast or AIB Knockout, PK actor Aamir Khan asserted that he was deeply disturbed by what they did publicly.
Aamir Khan asserted that the jokes that were cracked at AIB Roast were not at all funny for him, rather he was deeply affected by the act and he also scolded Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor for being part of the show.
"Karan and Arjun are both my friends and I scolded them both saying that I didn't find it funny. If you think 25 abuses can impress me, then you are wrong. I am not 14 anymore, abusive language doesn't excite me. If you can make me laugh without hurting anyone, that I will appreciate. I don't think jokes about one's colour of skin or one's sexuality are funny at all," said Aamir when asked about his opinion on controversial AIB Roast.
Actor Aamir Khan also stressed that he completely believes in freedom of speech but opined that it has to accompany a sense of responsibilty.
Nevertheless, Aamir Khan's stand did not go well with several AIB supporters who expressed their annoyance on Twitter slamming Aamir Khan as 'hypocrite'.
