Director
Rajashekhar
had
done
his
first
movie
Amrutha
Vani
with
a
love
story.
When
the
subject
did
not
yield
expected
amount
of
success,
the
director
seems
to
have
taken
a
diversion
from
the
subject
in
his
second
directorial
venture
Parole,
which
had
headlines
for
all
wrong
reason.
Rajashekhar
has
chosen
a
thriller
and
suspense
story
for
the
movie
Parole.
He
has
even
included
a
couple
of
real
life
incident
in
the
film.
The
script
has
no
loose
ends
and
the
suspense
is
kept
till
the
very
end,
which
is
superb.
With
gripping
narration,
meaningful
dialogues
and
perfect
plot,
he
has
tried
to
make
it
a
good
watch.
He
seems
to
have
given
a
new
dimension
to
commercial
films.
The
movie
Parole
revolves
around
how
father
Shantha
Murthy
avenges
the
murder
of
his
son
Rahul
by
killing
his
four
friends.
The
first
half
is
an
out-and-out
suspense
thriller
and
deals
the
reason
for
murders
and
the
investigation.
The
second
half
is
even
more
interesting
with
emotions
and
suspense.
Shantha
Murthy
(B
Suresh)
is
the
father
of
Rahul
(Sooraj)
and
he
struggles
to
educate
his
son,
who
is
studying
medicine.
Rahul
is
in
love
with
Nikitha
(Supreetha),
who
too
loves
him
equally.
Rahul's
close
friend
Jaani
(Sharath)
is
also
madly
in
love
with
Nikitha.
Along
with
his
three
friends
Gopi
(Likith
Shetty),
Sharath
(Vishwas)
and
Raj
(Pradeep),
Jaani
kills
Rahul
in
drunken
state
of
mind.
But
using
their
influence
and
money
power,
they
come
out
of
jail
on
parole
and
plan
to
kill
Rahul's
father
Shantha
Murthy,
who
avenges
his
son"s
death
by
killing
them.
As
CCB
cop,
Kishore
has
delivered
a
classic
performance
in
the
film.
B
Suresh
has
also
shown
lot
of
energy
in
his
role
as
Rahul"s
father,
but
his
performance
seems
to
have
fallen
flat
due
to
his
theatrical
acting.
Newcomers
Sooraj,
Vishwas,
Likith
have
shown
lot
potentials
in
their
acting.
Pradeep
and
Supreetha
need
to
improve
to
prove
their
mettle.
Nagaraja
Murthy
and
Suchendra
Prasad
are
also
good
in
their
respective
roles.
Balaji
K
Mithran"s
music
is
a
perfect
harmony
to
the
narration
of
the
events.
All
his
songs
are
perfectly
placed
and
subtle.
Songs
'Jaadhu
Adhe
Manasali…"and
'Preethi
Heegena…
are
his
lovely
tunes
in
the
movie.
Debutant
cameraman
Gudulpet
Suresh
has
also
done
a
commendable
job
in
the
film.
However,
the
inconsistent
narration
and
a
few
age-old
sequences
mar
the
beauty
of
the
film,
but
they
won"t
disturb
the
viewers
enjoying
the
movie
Parole,
which
is
a
must
watch
film.
