Anoop
Menon,
the
popular
actor-writer
is
planning
a
sequel
for
his
popular
movie
Trivandrum
Lodge.
Anoop
himself
announced
the
news
in
a
recent
interview.
The
sequel
will
feature
almost
the
same
star
cast
of
the
original.
Trivandrum
Lodge,
which
was
directed
by
VK
Prakash
and
penned
by
Anoop
Menon,
was
one
of
the
path-breaking
movies
of
Mollywood.
The
movie,
which
has
been
considered
as
the
first
off-color
comedy
of
M'town,
broke
all
conventional
norms
of
film-making.
But
Trivandrum
Lodge
failed
to
impress
a
large
group
of
audiences;
especially
the
families
and
the
critics.
The
movie
was
heavily
criticized
for
it's
black
comedy
elements
and
was
tagged
as
vulgar,
disturbing,
and
offensive.
The
movie
featured
a
huge
star
cast,
including
Jayasurya,
Honey
Rose,
Master
Dhananjay,
Baby
Nayantara,
Sukumari,
Janardhanan,
Saiju
Kurupp,
Thesni
Khan,
P
Balachandran,
Devi
Ajith
etc.
Bhavana
appeared
in
a
cameo
role.
According
to
Anoop
Menon,
the
sequel
will
be
an
entirely
different
movie
and
will
not
have
any
similarities
with
the
original.
A
few
new
actors
will
be
added
into
the
star
cast.
The
project
is
expected
to
have
an
official
announcement
soon.
