remake
rights
of
Akshay
Kumar
starrer
Special
26
to
direct
the
movie
in
all
4
South
Indian
languages.
He
has
also
acquired
the
remake
rights
of
Kangana
Ranaut
starrer
Queen.
But
whether
or
not
Queen
will
be
remade
in
all
4
languages
is
unknown.
"This
time,
I
grabbed
the
golden
opportunity
of
remaking
Special
26
in
all
four
south
Indian
languages
and
I
will
have
the
honour
of
directing
this
mammoth
movie
in
all
four
south
Indian
languages"
Thiagarajan
said
in
a
statement.
He
is
particularly
happy
after
having
bagged
the
remake
rights
of
Special
26
as
the
movie
not
only
made
its
producers
happy
by
raking
in
good
amount
of
money
at
the
box
office,
but
it
was
also
critically
acclaimed.
The
cast
of
the
Tamil
remake
has
been
decided
and
sources
say
that
Thiagarajan's
son
Prashanth
will
be
playing
the
lead
while
Manoj
Bajpai's
role
will
be
essayed
by
Prakash
Raj.
Satyaraj
is
also
included
in
the
star
cast
who
will
be
seen
playing
the
role
portrayed
by
Anupam
Kher
in
the
original
flick.
Other
actors
who
will
be
seen
in
the
Tamil
remake
include
Nasser,
MS
Bhaskar,
Rao
Ramesh,
Brahmaji,
Thulasi
and
Sayaji
Shinde
of
Bharathi
fame.
Ajit

chief
operating
officer
of
Viacom18
Motion
Pictures
has
said

is

entertainer.

film

true
events
