Sumedh Mudhgalkar, Mallika Singh Get EMOTIONAL As RadhaKrishn Goes OFF AIR: Cannot Imagine My Life After...
RadhaKrishn last episode will air tonight on Star Bharat. At a time when shows go off air within a span of six months, Sumedh Mudhgalkar and Mallika Singh's mythological drama entertained the viewers for over four years. It's not an easy task to capture the attention of the fans for such a long time as they have plethora of options to choose from. However, RadhaKrishn emerged as a massive hit, continuing to grab eyeballs till its finale week.
RADHAKRISHN GOES OFF AIR
The show delivered meaningful messages through its different tracks, reaching millions of people at a time and keeping them hooked on to their television sets. As RadhaKrishn goes off air tonight, the lead couple got emotional while bidding adieu to the viewers and the cast of the popular show.
Both Sumedh Mudhgalkar and Mallika Singh have been an integral part of RadhaKrishn since the past four years, receiving appreciation for all their hard work and efforts from all the corners. The duo couldn't control their emotions as they talked about the show airing its last epiode on Saturday.
Sumedh Mudhgalkar's Emotional Moment
Sumedh said that it was a privilege to play the character of Lord Krishna in RadhaKrishn as many popular actors have enacted this role earlier. "Initially, it was a mammoth task to crack the assignment, but eventually, I realized that it was my journey and it was a competition against myself. It has been four years of shooting, and almost seven years that I have been associated with the show. Now the perceptions are changing, everything right from the set to the environment is changing," Sumedh said in a statement.
"And suddenly you realize that you won't be able to see these things again and thus you start appreciating them more. You suddenly feel emotional, I really cannot imagine my life after the show," he said as he talked about life after wrapping up the shoot of RadhaKrishn.
Mallika Singh's Statement
Mallika Singh aka our favourite Radha said that it was an enriching experience for her to play the iconic role. Sharing her reaction when she was approached for the show, the actress said, "I was overjoyed when I was offered the role in the television series RadhaKrishn. At the initial stage , I found it a bit hard to cope up but then gradually we had to multitask while getting into character, and I realized it was my journey where I learnt a lot and adapted myself to all the challenges."
"It's been four years of shooting and nearly seven years that I've been associated with the show, and now the long journey has come to an end where I am emotional but also happy that I've made innumerable memories as well as good experiences," she added.
Mallika said that she will miss each and every member on the set as she had a gala time working with them.
Which Show Is Replacing RadhaKrishn
RadhaKrishn will be replaced by Meri Saas Bhoot Hai at 7:30pm slot. The new show will hit the airwaves from Monday (January 23) on Star Bharat. The channel has promised to entertain the viewers with a hatke drama at early evening slot.
