After
six-months
long
gap
after
the
release
of
the
movie
Suryakaanti,
actor
Chetan
Kumar
is
making
his
comeback
to
Kannada
films.
The
Aa
Dinagalu
star
has
studied
the
minus
points
of
the
movie
and
has
gone
ahead
to
involve
himself
in
works
of
scripting
and
dialogue
writing
of
his
next
film.
Now,
his
latest
movie
is
titled
Mareyalaare,
which
means
unforgettable.
The
muhurtha
of
Mareyalaare
was
held
at
the
Gandhi
Bhavan
near
Shivananda
Circle,
Bangalore
on
last
Sunday
evening.
The
movie
is
the
maiden
venture
of
Sharat
and
Gouri
Khadri,
who
are
aspiring
film-makers
with
experience
in
documentary
film-making.
Now
they
have
taken
a
detour
from
corporate
work
to
make
a
lasting
impression
in
mainstream
Kannada
films.
Besides
playing
the
hero,
Chetan
has
also
contributed
to
the
screenplay
and
dialogues
of
the
film
Mareyalaare.
Talking
about
the
film
at
Muhurtha,
he
said
"I'm
fortunate
to
work
with
producers
like
Sharat
and
Gouri
Khadri.
They've
given
me
complete
freedom
in
all
aspects
of
the
Mareyalaare
i.e
penning
story,
screenplay
and
dialogues.
The
Birugali
star
added,
“Mareyalaare
narrates
the
conflicts
between
what
mainstream
society
deems
as
successful
and
our
individual
pursuits
of
happiness.
I
play
the
role
of
an
idealistic
architect.
The
film
has
a
backdrop
of
the
catastrophic
floods
that
took
place
in
northern
Karnataka
around
October
2009."
However,
Mareyalaare
is
being
directed
by
debutant
Sharat
Khadri
and
produced
by
Sharat
and
his
wife
Gouri
Khadri
under
the
banner
Surabhi
Talkies.
Chetan,
Sindhu
Lokanatha,
Satish
Chandra,
Padmaja
Rao
are
in
the
cast.
It
will
be
shot
in
45
days
and
is
anticipated
to
release
in
November.
