I Was Cheated By Rajesh Pillai, Says Shamna Kasim

Shamna Kasim, the actress-dancer says that director Rajesh Pillai cheated her by chopping off her portions from his recently released movie Mili. Shamna stated her deep disappointment, in a recent interview. The actress alleges that the script, which Rajesh Pillai narrated to her was totally different from the final output.

According to Shamna, she had an important role in Mili. The actress says that she backed out from her other language projects and dance programs to be a part of Mili. But the role was completely different from the character which was narrated to her. Shamna says that the beginning and the climax of the movie was different from the script.

The movie field wasn't favourable for Shamna Kasim since the beginning of her acting career. Shama made her acting debut with Kamal directed Manju Poloru Penkutti, in a small role. She later appeared in some popular movies and has shared screen with the popular actors, including Mammootty and Mohanlal.

The actress started playing glamorous roles and willingly acted in intimate scenes in her other language movies. She even went on to play the lead role in the remake of the erotic classic movie Chattakkari. But Shamna's glamorous avathar didn't go well with the Malayali audience. The actress, who has been tasting consecutive failures, is planning to concentrate in her dance career.
